- Dog Roses out everywhere - One of the dogs has returned - Peonies dropping petals - White Rose bush in flower - popular with rose chafer beetles - Sweet Mock Orange even stronger - First handful of spinach & rocket leaves - Two courgettes coming - Trimmed windowboxes - Propped up ailing cucumbers - Dug troughs & assembled poles & wire for 2 rows of tomatoes (13 in each row) - Cut down 6 bags of kindling - Cat recovered

Tying Up Peonies

- Update after 12 days away and a lot of rain. - Brought back the batch of Sofia tomatoes grown from last year's seeds - Tied up 7 sets of peonies using bamboo poles - Tied up gate rose (badly) - Tied back blackberries/raspberries - Gave more space to succulents - Weeding & digging over ground to prepare for tomato planting - Mowed lawn
